Indoor Hockey UK is delighted to announce that entries are now open for the Indoor Hockey UK University Championships 2027, bringing together university teams from across the UK for a day of exciting indoor hockey.

Following the success of the inaugural championships in 2025, the 2027 event marks an exciting milestone as the first edition to be delivered by Indoor Hockey UK, building on the foundations of a fantastic competition and continuing its development as the UK's premier university indoor hockey event.

The championships will take place on Friday 8 January 2027 at the David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham - one of the UK's leading indoor hockey venues.

Bringing Universities Together

The Indoor Hockey UK University Championships provide a unique opportunity for universities to compete in a dedicated indoor hockey competition, bringing together teams from across the country for a day of high-quality, fast-paced hockey.

With professionally managed competition, qualified officials and an outstanding venue, the championships are designed to provide an enjoyable and competitive experience for every team taking part.

Whether your university is returning to challenge for the title or entering for the very first time, the event promises an excellent standard of hockey and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day.

Men's and Women's Competitions

Entries are now invited for both men's and women's competitions, with places available on a first-come, first-served basis. As capacity is limited, universities are encouraged to secure their place as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You can book your place in the competition by using our online entry system.

The championships will once again be hosted at the David Ross Sports Village at the University of Nottingham.

Recognised as one of the UK's premier indoor sports venues, it provides the perfect setting for a national university championship, offering outstanding facilities for players, officials and spectators alike.
