Brand Policy

These rules apply to any party wishing to use Indoor Hockey UK logos, graphics and similar intellectual property

Overview

This policy applies to any person or organisation wishing to use Indoor Hockey UK’s trademarks, logos, service marks, graphics, or similar intellectual property (“Brand Assets”).


Indoor Hockey UK Ltd. (“Indoor Hockey UK”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) owns and manages these Brand Assets. Use of them is permitted only in accordance with this policy or with our written permission.


By using any Brand Asset, you agree to comply with this policy.

Ownership of Brand Assets

All Brand Assets are the exclusive property of Indoor Hockey UK Ltd. Any goodwill generated from their use benefits Indoor Hockey UK.


You must not:

  • claim ownership of the Brand Assets
  • register similar marks
  • challenge our rights in them

Permitted Uses

Affiliated organisations or participants may use Brand Assets only to describe factual involvement with Indoor Hockey UK, such as participation in events or leagues.


Such use must:

  • be accurate and not misleading
  • not imply endorsement or sponsorship beyond the factual relationship
  • not place the brand in a negative or derogatory context


Any promotional, commercial, or branding use beyond factual reference requires prior written permission.

Non-Affiliated Use

If you are not affiliated with Indoor Hockey UK, you must obtain written permission before using any Brand Asset.

Proper Presentation

Brand Assets must:

  • be used in their original form
  • not be altered, stretched, recoloured, or distorted
  • not be combined with other marks without approval
  • remain clearly legible

Naming Conventions

The organisation should normally be referred to as:


Indoor Hockey UK


The abbreviation IHUK may be used where appropriate.


Official competition names should include the organisation name in full unless otherwise agreed.

Withdrawal of Permission

Indoor Hockey UK may withdraw permission to use Brand Assets where reasonably necessary, including where use is misleading, inappropriate, or inconsistent with this policy.


Where permission is withdrawn, you must promptly cease use and remove affected materials.
