Media Competitions

Digital Media Competitions and Event Prize Competitions are operated by Indoor Hockey UK. Please read these terms and conditions carefully

Promoter

These competitions are operated by Indoor Hockey UK Ltd., trading as #indoorhockeyUK, HockeyUK Group, or My HockeyUK (“Indoor Hockey UK”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Eligibility

Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 13 years or over.


Entrants under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian. We may require confirmation of such permission before awarding a prize.


Employees of Indoor Hockey UK and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Volunteers may enter unless otherwise stated.

Entry

Unless stated otherwise:

  • entry is free
  • no purchase is necessary
  • only one entry per person per platform is permitted
  • entries received after the stated closing date will not be counted


Entry routes and instructions will be provided in the competition announcement.

Social Media Entries

Where competitions are hosted on social media platforms, entry may involve actions such as commenting, liking, or submitting content, where permitted by the platform.


Entrants should be aware that their participation may be visible to other users depending on their account privacy settings.

Competition Changes

We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or amend a competition where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, including legal or technical issues.


Where possible, we will notify entrants of any significant changes.

Prizes

Prizes will be described in the competition announcement.


Prizes:

  • are non-transferable
  • have no cash alternative unless stated
  • may be substituted with a prize of equal value where necessary


Delivery arrangements will be communicated to the winner. Any delivery costs will be stated in the competition announcement.

Winner Selection

Winners will be selected at random using a fair and verifiable process from eligible entries.


Where competitions run across multiple platforms, shortlists may be drawn from each platform before a final winner is selected.

Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted via email or direct message within 28 days of the closing date.


If a winner does not respond within 14 days, we may select an alternative winner.

Publicity

We may publish the winner’s name for transparency purposes.


We will seek permission before using a winner’s image or personal information for promotional purposes.

Data Protection

Personal data supplied during competitions will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and used only for administering the competition unless additional consent is provided.

Platform Disclaimer

These promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), or any other social media platform.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.



Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
