Indoor Hockey UK is pleased to announce the expansion of its Executive Officers team, welcoming eight new volunteers who will help support the organisation's continued growth and the delivery of events across the United Kingdom.

Since Indoor Hockey UK was established, the organisation has continued to grow at an incredible pace, with increasing participation, new competitions, expanded community initiatives and unprecedented demand for our events.

To support this growth, we've strengthened our Executive team by appointing experienced volunteers across a range of specialist roles, ensuring Indoor Hockey UK is well placed to continue delivering high-quality events while supporting the long-term development of indoor hockey.

Building on Strong Foundations

Indoor Hockey UK's Executive team was originally formed by Mervyn, William and Joanne, whose vision and dedication have helped establish the organisation and oversee its rapid growth.

As the organisation has evolved, it has become clear that additional expertise is needed across several key areas. The expansion of the Executive team reflects our commitment to delivering professionally organised events whilst remaining a volunteer-led organisation.

Supporting the Future of Indoor Hockey

The Executive Officers work throughout the year behind the scenes, planning competitions, supporting volunteers, managing operations and developing new initiatives that benefit clubs, players, officials and the wider indoor hockey community.

As our events programme continues to grow, having dedicated volunteers leading specialist areas will allow Indoor Hockey UK to further improve the quality of our events while continuing to invest in the future of the sport.

Although many people only see what happens on the day of an event, an enormous amount of planning takes place behind the scenes. The expanded Executive team will play a vital role in ensuring Indoor Hockey UK continues to develop sustainably whilst maintaining the high standards participants have come to expect.
