Indoor Hockey UK is delighted to announce that three sets of former championship rebound boards have found new homes at clubs across the UK, where they will continue to support the growth of indoor hockey for years to come.

Following our recent sale of surplus rebound boards, we were thrilled by the unprecedented level of interest from clubs, schools and organisations looking to expand their indoor hockey provision. The response demonstrated the growing enthusiasm for indoor hockey and the value of making quality equipment more accessible.

The first three sets have now been delivered to:

• Waltham Forest Hockey Club – London
• Charnwood Forest Hockey Club – Midlands
• Dunfermline Carnegie Hockey Club – Scotland

Previously used at Indoor Hockey UK competitions, these boards have now started a new chapter, supporting local clubs in delivering training sessions, junior development, community programmes and competitive indoor hockey.

Giving Equipment a Second Life

Rather than seeing these boards come to the end of their journey, we're incredibly pleased that they will continue to play an important role in the sport.

Indoor Hockey UK regularly invests in equipment to ensure our national events are delivered to the highest possible standard. As equipment is refreshed, it's important to us that older assets continue to benefit the wider hockey community wherever possible.

By finding new homes with clubs, these boards will remain in use for many years, helping hundreds of players experience indoor hockey at a local level.

Supporting Clubs & Communities

Community clubs are at the heart of our sport, and we're proud to have been able to support three organisations that are investing in indoor hockey within their local areas.

These boards will help create opportunities for players of all ages and abilities, whether through club training, junior sessions, local competitions or community hockey programmes.

Seeing equipment that has previously been used at national events now supporting grassroots hockey is a fantastic outcome and reflects our commitment to ensuring resources continue to benefit the sport long after their use at Indoor Hockey UK events.
